• Five great exercises we’ve developed that build on one another to lead you to be able to identify God stories you didn’t know you had.

• You will pick one, learn the techniques and be able to share it in a succinct and captivating way in 90 seconds!

• You will also hear the stories of others in the group and walk away incredibly encouraged by the unique stories of what God has done in peoples’ lives.

Intro to identifying many kinds of God stories by brainstorming to discover stories you may not even realize you have! And, with some cool techniques on how to collect them and tell others at just the right moment.

You’ll take one of those stories and create a written “sliver” or “slice” using creative writing techniques, such as:

• How to Hook ‘Em!

• Clear out the Cliches

• Dynamic Dialog

• God Definitely in This Story

• Topics, themes

• Powerful, punchy ending

And gain the confidence to share it.

In this interactive Tell Your God Story Workshop™, we’ll work on different ways to notice and identify how God is at work in your life and around you. And dig deeper into creative writing craft mentioned in “From Seed to Story.” You’ll also get:

• Multiple story exercises

• Personal guidance

• Editing and feedback

• At least one polished story that you can send or tell others

You’ll discover several seed stories in your life to spread to others to lead them closer to Father, Son and Holy Spirit and develop as many as you can with professional guidance. Various storytelling techniques will be shared in this workshop depending on interest and time. Besides the written word, those include:

• Oral storytelling techniques

• Producing your Slice of Life story on video

• Touching upon prophetic art

• Telling your God story through song

• Creative inspiration on how God speaks through nature

  (We can take a deeper dive into any one of these in workshops customized for you and your group. We have experts in each field to guide you through these various watermelon patches!)

Six Weeks • 2-Hour Interactive Sessions

Can you readily recognize how God is at work in your everyday life?

Join a small group as we learn to Recognize, Remember, and Reveal Jesus through our everyday experiences. Each two-hour workshop is interactive, encouraging, and designed to help you discover the God Stories already unfolding in your life.

During these six weeks, you'll experience:

• Thoughtfully designed exercises that help you recognize God's presence in everyday moments.

• Practical writing and storytelling techniques that make your stories clear, engaging, and authentic.

• Time to practice, reflect, and grow in a supportive community.

• The opportunity to hear others' God Stories that will inspire your own faith and sharpen your ability to tell yours.

• Growing confidence in discovering, writing, and sharing your God Stories.

• Gentle, experienced facilitation to help you discern where God is at work and find the words to tell those stories with authenticity.

• As time permits, we can touch upon a variety of ways you can share your God experiences with others besides writing: through video, art, song, and more

Each session builds on the previous one, giving you plenty of time to practice, receive encouragement, and watch your stories—and your confidence—grow week by week.
